Today would have been perfect to go hit the trails.

Back “home” there were no less than five places within 30 minutes where you could legally tear it up.

Here in Chicago? Everything is two hours away. And I’ll be damned if there isn’t a Cop coming down the street any time I roll down the driveway.

Same with Northern Virginia. Too many cops to take any risks, and absolutely zero offroad spots within 2-3 hours.

That sucks. I would have thought NoVa would be rife with places to go. Though some areas are more liberal than others with ATVs. The farther from heavy Urban areas you are the better.

I know one far Western Il town where it’s not uncommon to see 10 year olds cruising around on 90s. Nobody bats an eye.

It does kinda suck here. If you ride an ATV pretty much anywhere near Northern Virginia on a public road, you’ll get arrested or fined. No doubt about it.

I went and tore tail around the block this morning. It took about 5 minutes before the cops were crawling all over.
